The Lamb Family
The Farms Welcomes its 200th Family
John and Jennifer Lamb and their daughter, Audrey, are the 200th family to move into a home at The Farms. Iredell County’s lower property taxes and top-notch schools appealed to the family, as well as the number of children living in The Farms. But what impressed the Lambs the most was the neighborhood feel mixed in with the privacy that the homesites offer. The family’s new home, built by Strom Construction, Inc., sits on a quiet one-acre cul-de-sac homesite.
The Farms is on Parade!
The annual Parade of Homes tour, produced by the Lake Norman Home Builders Association, features homes in The Farms. Visitors can tour the new homes during the first three weekends in June.
This home by The Hoke Company, Inc. is one beautiful home featured on the tour. Be sure to stop by and take a closer look at this five-bedroom, four-and-one-half-bath home – it could be yours!
Community Connection Beautifies Brawley Middle School
Crescent Communities representatives, in partnership with American Environmental Control and Landscaping, worked with Brawley Middle School students to beautify the campus with new landscaping. The event also included an environmental education class. Crescent has donated more than $60,000 in trees and shrubs to local schools since its Planting Partners program’s inception in 2001.
Planting Partners is now part of Community Connection, Crescent’s new outreach program designed to bring positive change to the community at-large. Click here for more information and to see how easy it is for The Farms’ residents to get involved!

BEWARE: Homestead Hammerheads on the Loose!
The pool is now open for fun in the sun. However, be careful splashing in those blue waters … you might come across a Hammerhead or two – or maybe the whole team! The Farms swim team, The Homestead Hammerheads, is back for another season full of competition and fun with friends. Go Hammerheads!
