The Farms is served by the award-winning Iredell-Statesville school system, which includes
Woodland Heights Elementary School, Brawley Middle School and Lake Norman High School.
A wide array of excellent private schools, as well as Davidson College, Queens College, Central Piedmont Community College, Wake Forest University, Johnson C. Smith University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte are just short drives away for older students.

programs with an emphasis on Advanced Placement and college preparatory
courses, as well as fine arts programs in theater, band and chorus.

school is deemed academically excellent, developmentally responsive
and socially equitable.
*** School of Distinction is defined as a school that made or exceeded
growth goals; 80 to 89.9 percent of its students tested at or above grade
level.
